The small town of Bomdila is set amongst the lofty ranges of the mighty Himalayas at an altitude of 2,530 m above sea level. It is a remote destination and has escaped the virtual tourist invasion in recent times. Bomdila is known for its scenic environs along with its Buddhist monasteries and apple orchids. It also attracts the adventure seeker with its numerous trekking trails.

Day 01: Arrival at Guwahati | Transfer to Bhalukpong
On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station get transferred to Bhalukpong, the border of the states of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Check:in to the hotel. Overnight in Bhalukpong.
Day 02: Bhalukpong to Dirang | Dirang Sightseeing
After breakfast transfer to Dirang, take a break to visit the Nag Temple. Enroute visit Tippi Orchid Centre and Sessa Orchid Sanctuary. Check in to the hotel. Visit apple and kiwi farms in the afternoon (depending upon the season), Dirang Monastery and Kalachakra Monastery. Overnight stay in Dirang.
Day 03 : Dirang to Tawang
After breakfast, proceed to Tawang. On the way, enjoy the view of Sela Pass and Sela lake and Jaswant Garh War Memorial. Later visit Nuranng Falls. Check in to the hotel. Overnight in Tawang.
Day 04 : Tawang Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Tawang Monastery, Urgeling Gompa, (6th Dalai Lama’s birthplace) and the War Memorial. Visit the craft center in Tawang that sells beautiful masks, hand-wovencarpets, jewellery in silver, coral and amber. Overnight in Tawang.
Day 05 : Tawang Local Sightseeing: High Altitude Lakes and Bumla Pass
After breakfast, drive to high altitude Shonga-tser Lake, popularly known as Madhuri Lake. Then drive to Sangetsar Lake, nestled amidst the pristine mountains and picturesque surrounding. Enjoy some hot steaming Momos while watching war bunkers around. Drive further to Bumla Pass which is located about 37 km away from Tawang. During the return, take a photo stop at the beautiful PTSO (Pankang Teng Tso ) Lake. Drive back to the hotel. Overnight in Tawang.
For PTSO, you need to obtain a special pass and also need to hire a separate vehicle. Permit for Bumla and China Border will have to be obtained one day prior to the date of journey.
Day 06: Tawang to Bomdila
After breakfast, get transferred to Bomdila. On arrival check in to the hotel. Visit Upper Gompa & Lower Gompa. In the evening you can visit the local market and spend some time at leisure. Overnight in Bomdila.
Day 07: Bomdila to Guwahati
After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati. On Arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 08: Guwahati Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Kamakhya Temple, Tirupati Balaji Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Assam State Museum, State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Regional Science Centre, and Sukreswar Temple. In the evening, visit 'Kalakshetra' for Light and sound show or optional tour of a sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra (Direct Payment). Return to the hotel. Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 09: Departure to Guwahati Airport / Rly Station
After breakfast, proceed to Guwahati airport or Railway station.
