09D RAJASTHAN HERITAGE TOUR

Day 01: Arrive in Jaipur

On arrival in Jaipur, get transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore the bustling colourful local markets of Jaipur on your own or visit Choki Dhani on own. Overnight at Jaipur.

Day 02: Jaipur city tour

After breakfast, you will be driven just outside the Jaipur city to visit the Amer fort a former capital of Jaipur Empire, enjoy an Elephant ride / Jeep Ride from the foothills to the top of the hill (optional). En route to Amber, you will stop at the Hawa Mahal. Later you will visit the City Palace, walk across to the Jantar Mantar an astronomical observatory built in the 17th century. In the evening visit the Nahargarh Fort to see city light Illumination. Overnight at Jaipur.

Day 03: Jaipur - Jodhpur (Distance from Jaipur to Jodhpur is 332 km and takes 7 hrs on road)

After breakfast, proceed to Jodhpur. En route,  visit the holy towns of Pushkar - Pushkar lake & Brahma temple & in Ajmer visit the Dargah of Garib Nawaz. The evening is at leisure. Overnight at Jodhpur.

Day 04: Jodhpur city tour

After breakfast, visit Umaid Bhawan Palace & Museum, Majestic Mehrangarh Fort, continue to Jaswant Thada a cluster of Royal cenotaphs built in 1899. Overnight at Jodhpur.

Day 05: Jodhpur – Udaipur (Distance from Jodhpur to Udaipur is 275 km and takes 6/7 hrs on road)

After breakfast, proceed to Udaipur, capital of former Princely state of Mewar, en route stop to visit the world famous Ranakpur Jain Temples, known for its exquisite carvings and 1444 pillar hall. Rest of the day is on leisure to explore the Lake city of Udaipur on your own. In the evening enjoy a boat ride on the picturesque Lake Pichola (on own). Overnight at Udaipur

Day 06: Udaipur city tour

After breakfast, visit the City Palace - the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Proceed to Jagdish Temple & the Museum, and thereafter visit the Sahelion Ki Bari or “Garden of the Maids of Honour". In the afternoon go out on an excursion to Haldighati, Nathdwara temple-Srinathji Darshan and on the return journey visit Ekligji Temple, the deity of Mewar rulers. Overnight at Udaipur.

Day 07: Udaipur – Chittor day trip

After Breakfast drive to Chittor, visit the Chittorgarh fort. The famous & glorious fort and victory tower situated at the height of 1338 ft.  Return to Udaipur. Overnight Stay at Udaipur.

Day 08: Udaipur – Jaipur (Distance from Udaipur to Jaipur is 395 km and takes 7/8 hrs on road) 

After breakfast, proceed to Jaipur. By evening reach Jaipur. Rest of the evening is at leisure for shopping and individual activities. Overnight at Jaipur.

Day 09: Departure Jaipur

After breakfast, check out from the hotel, transfer to the airport/railway station for your onward journey.
