In the Sultanahmet district, the open-air, Roman-era Hippodrome was for centuries the site of chariot races, and Egyptian obelisks also remain. The iconic Byzantine Hagia Sophia features a soaring 6th-century dome and rare Christian mosaics.

The Ottoman-era Sultan Ahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque) was named for its blue interior tiles. Circa-1460 Topkapı Palace, home to Ottoman sultans until the 19th century, contains royal artefacts and rooms that once comprised a large harem. Nearby is the Spice Market and rambling Grand Bazaar. Spanning the Golden Horn estuary, atmospheric Galata Bridge is a popular fishing spot and leads to the city’s modern heart. The Galata area is known for its medieval tower and upmarket boutiques. Beyoğlu's stylish bars lie south of Taksim Square. The city's eastern, Asian side encompasses residential areas and waterfront districts such as Kadiköy.

Istanbul is a year-round destination, though most visitors arrive May-Sep when the weather is warm to hot and humid. Winter (Nov–Feb) is cold and wet, and often snowy. Local events include the International Istanbul Film Festival (Apr) and Istanbul Music Festival (Jun).

Antalya is a Turkish resort city with a yacht-filled Old Harbor and beaches flanked by large hotels. It's a gateway to Turkey's southern Mediterranean region, known as the Turquoise Coast for its blue waters. Remnants remain from Antalya's time as a major Roman port. These include Hadrian’s Gate, built to honor the Roman emperor’s visit in 130 A.D and 2nd-century Hidirlik Tower, with harbor views.

The clifftop fortress neighborhood of Kaleiçi is the site of Yivli Minare, a 38m-high brick minaret, and narrow streets lined with centuries-old restored Ottoman homes. Antalya Museum houses a vast collection dating to early antiquity. Popular Konyaalti Beach is a long, pebbly stretch, while sandy Lara Beach is known for themed hotels and nearby Düden Waterfalls. Beyond the city lie ruins such as Aspendos’ preserved theater and Perge’s massive Greco-Roman stadium. Popular outdoor activities include golfing, diving and hiking the 500km Lycian Way footpath.

Most visitors arrive May-Sep, when dry, hot weather make this prime time for beachgoing, though temperatures soar Jul–Aug. Local events include the International Antalya Film Festival (Nov–Dec).

Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul

On arrival to Turkey’s Istanbul Airport, get transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2: Istanbul Bosporus Cruise Shopping Tour

After breakfast, you shall be picked up from the hotel and depart for the Istanbul Bosphorus Cruise and Shopping Tour. Visit the grand SPICE BAZAAR. The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every other conceivable herb and spice. BOSPHORUS BY BOAT is a traditional excursion by boat along the waterway separating Europe and Asia. RUMELI FORTRESS is one of the most beautiful works of military architecture anywhere in the world. BEYLERBEYI PALAS (PALACE) was the summer residence of Ottoman sultans exists in its original renovated glory featuring original antique furniture and magnificent gardens with the Harem on the Asian side of Istanbul. BOSPHORUS BRIDGE  provides a unique chance to step from one continent (Asia) to another (Europe). After the tour, transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 3: Istanbul City Tour to Antalya

After breakfast, proceed for the day tour of old Istanbul city. Visit TOPKAPI PALACE housing an exquisite collection of crystal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed. SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE is known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. HIPPODROME was the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. 

GRAND COVERED BAZAAR tour takes you to a labyrinth of streets and passages with more than 4,000 shops, each trade having its own area. The Goldsmiths' street, the carpet sellers, Turkish arts and crafts, such as hand-painted ceramic plates, hand-honed copperware, brassware and trays, water ewers, onyx-ware and meerschaum pipes. After the tour, depart for Istanbul Airport for domestic flight to Antalya. Transfer from the airport and check-in to your hotel in Antalya. Overnight in Antalya

Day 4: Antalya Old City Tour

After breakfast, depart for “Antalya Old City”. The downtown area has historical buildings, great port view, clock tower and little fortresses spread around. You will be mesmerized by true Antalya while strolling the city. You will witness little boutique hotels, Narrow streets, and affordably priced shops in a city of modern and majestic hotels. Return to your hotel upon completion of Antalya Old City Tour. Overnight in Antalya.

DAY 5: Antalya to Istanbul – End of The Tour

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer back to Antalya airport for your flight back to Istanbul to catch your return flight.
