BEST TIME TO VISIT MOSCOW:
Some travellers like to visit Jun-Sep, during the mild summer. The festival of Maslenitsa (varies Feb/Mar) welcomes spring with pancakes and a carnival-style events program. The Golden Mask Festival (Mar-Apr) showcases drama, opera, dance and puppetry. Victory Day (May 9) marks Russia's WWII victory with a military parade in Red Square. BEST TIME TO VISIT ST. PETERSBURG:
Peak travel is May–Aug when days are long and temperatures are mild. The White Nights (Jun–Jul) is a wide-ranging arts festival held in midsummer when nights don't really get dark. It incorporates opera and ballet performances, pop music concerts, carnivals and more. Widely observed Orthodox Christian festivals include Christmas (Jan 7) and Easter (varies Apr/May). The Tulip Festival (May) sees Elagin Island in bloom. Winter (Nov–Mar) is long and cold, with short days, frequent snow and very cold nights.

DAY 1: Arrival in Moscow
Upon Arrival in Moscow, please clear your immigration, customs and get transferred to your hotel. The evening is free for you to roam around the area near your hotel on your own or explore this majestic city. We recommend visiting the Russian Ballet Show. Ballet is one of the most important aspects of Russian culture and heritage. A must visit for the art and culture lovers; reserve your tickets in advance to enjoy a hassle-free show. DAY 2: City tour of Moscow and Metro Tour
After breakfast, get ready to enjoy a panoramic city tour of Moscow. During the tour, you will drive along the Moscow streets, boulevards and avenues with the historic buildings and mansions. Besides, the world's most famous Red Square, you shall also see the historic Alexander Garden, the Manezh Square and the Temple of Christ the Savior. After breakfast check out from the hotel and get transferred to the railway station to take the Sapsan train to St. Petersburg. Arrive at St. Petersburg and get transferred to the hotel. In the evening, enjoy a walk to the city center or the nightlife of St. Petersburg. Overnight in St. Petersburg.
DAY 5: City tour of St. Petersburg with Kazan Cathedral
After breakfast, proceed for a city tour of this magnificent city. During the bus tour of St. Petersburg, you will see St. Isaac's Square with the magnificent St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Bronze Horseman, the Admiralty, the Winter Palace and Church of the Savior on the Spilled Blood. Then you will see Peter and Paul Fortress from inside, Vasilevsky Island, Rostral columns, stock Exchange building. In the afternoon visit the glorious Kazan Cathedral. After breakfast, the day is on leisure. We strongly recommend the Nikolaevsky Palace Folk Show at an additional cost.
