Tashkent is the capital city of Uzbekistan. It’s known for its many museums and its mix of modern and Soviet-era architecture. The Amir Timur Museum houses manuscripts, weapons and other relics from the Timurid dynasty. Nearby, the huge State Museum of History of Uzbekistan has centuries-old Buddhist artifacts. The city’s skyline is distinguished by Tashkent Tower, which offers city views from its observation deck.
The Khazrati Imam Architectural Complex includes several mosques and madrasas, as well as the Muyi Mubarak Madrasah Library, containing an ancient copy of the Quran. Underneath a distinctive blue-green dome is the Chorsu Bazaar, a massive farmer’s market. The State Museum of Arts displays regional artworks, from embroidered silk hangings to Soviet-era paintings. Near Mustakillik Square (Independence Square) is the WWII Monument, a statue of a woman in front of an eternal flame that honors the hundreds of thousands of Uzbek soldiers killed in World War II.

When to Visit:
Tashkent has a continental climate with distinct seasons. The peak travel period (May-Sep) is mainly warm and dry, with some very hot days. Both the spring (Mar-Apr) and the fall (Oct–Nov) are mild. In the winter (Dec–Feb), temperatures hover around freezing, but blasts of very cold weather are possible. Key events include Nowruz (Mar), with traditional dances and costumes during the Uzbek New Year. Independence Day (Sep 1) includes parades and fireworks. Ramadan (dates vary) is the Islamic holy month of fasting.
Day 1: Tashkent
Upon arrival get transferred to your hotel. Relax and get ready for a glimpse of Tashkent in your evening city tour. Visit the Independence Square, Broadway Street with artist and souvenirs, Amir Temur Square, and Victory Monument, National Library and Square with Fountains in this tour. Overnight at Tashkent.
Day 2: Tashkent
After breakfast, proceed for a 2 hours scenic drive to Chimgan mountains and Charvak lake. On reaching the mountains take the 3 mins Chair Lift ride to reach the top of the mountain (Subject to operation on the day of the visit). After the magnificent Chimgan mountains, proceed for lunch. Post lunch, walk down to the beautiful Charvak lake. In the evening drive back to the city. Overnight at Tashkent.
Day 3: Tashkent
After breakfast, proceed for a morning city tour along with a shopping tour. See the Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial and Statue, Memorial of Repressions with the traditional ornaments, Monument of Courage, Russian Catholic Church and Tashkent TV Tower (from the outside). Post lunch, proceed for shopping at Chorsu Market and Mega Planet mall. Overnight at Tashkent.
Day 4: Tashkent
After breakfast, the whole morning is on leisure. In the afternoon continue the city tour of Tashkent. Visit the National Park, People Friendship Square, Poytakht Mall, Parliament Building, Grand Opera and Ballet Theatre (outside only), Abul Kasim Madrassah, Khazrat Imam Complex, Kukeldash Madrassah, Khoja Akhror Vali Juma Mosque. Overnight at Tashkent.
Day 5: Tashkent – Departure.
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your return flight.
